About Me
Ashleigh is a registered psychologist who has experience working across both the behaviour support and psychology divisions within the NDIS. She is passionate about working with clients to build their confidence and develop new skills. Ashleigh has a particular interest in working with children and adolescents and has a background in running various intervention programs with these age groups. She utilises a range of evidence based practiced including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, to support a wide variety of client presentations including anxiety, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress, obsessive compulsive disorder, schizophrenia and personality disorders. She is passionate about holistic growth and working collaboratively with stakeholders, including schools, families, and support workers for optimal client outcomes and wellbeing. She is organised, friendly, dependable and is passionate about building strong trust and rapport with her clients. She is competent in providing educational assessments, ADHD assessments, cognitive assessments. Ashleigh is also a registered Medicare provider and can provide psychology sessions under a mental health care plan.
