We are completely equipped and ready for PACE! This article aims to explain the details of PACE and includes a comprehensive set of FAQs to address participants’ key queries.

There are a few ways a participant or nominee can endorse ORS:

  • Contact the NDIA National Call Centre on 1800 800 110 and advise that you would like to endorse ORS as the Behaviour Support provider at a “Category Level” and/or as “My Provider” for all other services we are providing eg: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology etc. Confirm that the start date of the “Provider Role” matches the start date of the “Plan”.

What is PACE?

The NDIA is introducing PACE as an upgrade from their old customer management system.

The primary objective of this new system is to enhance the NDIS experience for both participants and providers. It aims to deliver superior support to you, your family, and your carers, ensuring a more efficient and effective service.

When will PACE start?

The NDIA has planned the rollout of PACE over 18 months, commencing from the end of October 2023.

What do I need to do?

Starting from 30th October 2023, existing participants who request or require changes to their plans will transition to the new PACE system.

Those with current plans undergoing scheduled reassessments who do not need any modifications will not shift to PACE until their next planned reassessment unless they require a plan change earlier. For new participants entering the scheme with their first NDIS plan, the PACE system will be implemented from 31st October onwards.

For participants using PACE, the NDIA is introducing a new support type that is relevant to your ORS servicing:

  • Behaviour Support (previously Improved Relationships)
