About Me

Dr Amy Churm is a provisional psychologist practising in New South Wales. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Essex (UK), a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Royal Holloway University of London (UK), a Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from the University of Southampton (UK), and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Liverpool John Moores University (UK). Amy has extensive experience supporting adults living with common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, as well as neurodiverse populations, including autistic people and their families. Her clinical practice is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy and enriched by third-wave CBT and systemic approaches. Amy is committed to a client-centred, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to therapy, working alongside clients to enhance self-awareness, resilience, and coping strategies. Drawing on contemporary psychological frameworks, she tailors her therapeutic interventions to meet each client’s individual needs, supporting their journey towards improved mental health and well-being.
