About Me
Dan is a registered Provisional Psychologist with 10 years of experience working across the lifespan in diverse settings, including inpatient wards and community mental health. Training in the UK and Ireland, he holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Surrey, an MSc in Health Psychology from King’s College London, and a BA in Psychology from University College Dublin. Dan is passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their lives and helping them improve their overall quality of life through quality psychological interventions to support their mental health. Dan takes a systemic approach to his work, looking at the support system around the individual and the clients themselves. He employs evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Systemic Family Therapy, tailored to the unique needs of his clients and their families and carers. His areas of interest include autism, suicide, adolescent and male mental health. Outside of work, Dan enjoys an active lifestyle, enjoying rugby and other sports. He has a passion for photography and attempts to capture scenic views from his travels or simple, eye-catching moments in everyday life. In his spare time, he creates travel videos to document his adventures and showcase the beauty of the places he visits. A lover of sci-fi and fantasy novels, Dan enjoys immersing himself in different worlds through literature.
