About Me
Georgia is currently completing a Master of Counselling and brings over eight years of direct experience supporting people with disabilities across the lifespan. Previous roles include working as a vocational training officer with a disability employment service, serving as a teacher’s aide within a high school education support team, completing two counselling placements at a mental health and addiction hospital, and working at a behaviour therapy clinic. Across these roles, Georgia developed strong skills in assessment, goal setting, psychosocial support, crisis de-escalation, and interprofessional collaboration. Notable achievements include supporting clients to secure and maintain employment, facilitating education adjustments that improved student participation, and contributing to evidence-based behaviour support plans. Georgia is motivated by delivering compassionate, trauma-informed counselling and practical interventions that promote wellbeing and community participation. Areas of interest include vocational and community reintegration and improving service accessibility for diverse populations. These qualifications, practical experiences and professional aspirations position Georgia to contribute effectively to ORS Group by enhancing client outcomes, supporting multidisciplinary teams and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
