About Me
Kayla is a qualified occupational therapist, having obtained a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from Edith Cowan University. She has experience providing care to a wide range of individuals with disabilities, as well as working across several clinical settings, including paediatric skill-building, hospital rehabilitation, and aged care. Kayla is passionate about helping children with their development and independence and aims to help children and their families implement easy, meaningful strategies to improve daily living. She is known for her ability to build strong therapeutic relationships with her clients and for empowering individuals to achieve their goals. Kayla is committed to knowledge and understanding and has dedicated much of her time to becoming better informed about disability, with a particular interest in neurodivergence. She frequently volunteers in assisting neurodivergent children and young adults with daily living activities, social interaction, and sensory and emotional regulation.
