About Me
Kristy-Lee has dedicated her career to working with children and young people in educational and therapeutic settings. She has spent the last decade prioritising the well-being of young people in the out-of-home sector, fulfilling roles as a Foster Carer and a Therapeutic Case Manager. Kristy-Lee's passion, expertise and experience have contributed to her comprehensive understanding of childhood trauma and its long-lasting effects on a person’s quality of life. Through a person-centred approach, Kristy-Lee supports an individuals’ care team to employ strategies that assist a person to navigate through daily challenges. Kristy-Lee firmly believes that all people regardless of their capacity, have the right to be heard, to feel safe and be treated with respect. Kristy-Lee has joined ORS as a Behaviour Support Practitioner to continue to advocate for and support individuals of all ages to have a voice, overcome barriers and improve their quality of life.
