About Me
Lauren is Behaviour Support Practitioner, who has previously worked as a Disability support worker within a Supported Independent Living setting. She has experience working with clients who live with Psychosocial Disabilities such as: Schizoid Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Disorder. As well as working with clients living with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities and Physical Disabilities. Lauren utilises a person-centred and trauma-informed approach with her clients to ensure every aspect is considered when initiating interventions. She is passionate about her clients consistently meeting their desired goals, whilst simultaneously addressing current challenges in a beneficial way. Lauren's particular interests is in Psychosocial Disabilities and Forensic Mental Health. She has a Bachelor of Psychological Science and is currently completing her Master of Criminology.
