Michaela is a Speech Pathologist who graduated from the University of Newcastle and brings diverse experience across educational and community settings. Prior to qualifying, she worked as a School Learning Support Officer. These roles developed a solid understanding of individualised learning, collaborative planning, and behaviour support, and informed their approach to working with diverse communication needs. Before joining ORS, Michaela applied her clinical skills, supporting people across the lifespan to achieve meaningful communication and swallowing goals. She is passionate about a holistic, person-centred approach and prioritises capacity building for participants, families, and support staff. Michaela is excited to contribute her skills and enthusiasm to the ORS team, aiming to deliver measurable improvements in clients’ communication, participation, and overall quality of life.
