Tessa completed her Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) (Honours) degree at Curtin University, where she gained clinical experience across the lifespan in various settings, including schools and the community. During this time, she also worked at a private practice as a therapy assistant supporting primary school‑aged children with their speech and language needs. These experiences have provided her with hands‑on skills in delivering assessment and intervention alongside teachers, allied health teams and families. Tessa is especially passionate about paediatric speech and language and takes an empathetic, respectful approach to therapy. She strongly believes in the importance of individualised, client‑centred care, tailoring goals and strategies to each person’s strengths, needs and communication environments to support meaningful functional outcomes.
