About Me
Will is a Provisional Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner working with Psychology and Behaviour Support clients at ORS. Will has a Master of Psychology (Professional) and has experience working with individuals across the lifespan with varying psychological presentations. Will has applied interventions in individual and group therapy formats and has previous experience utilising Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and emotion regulation training. Prior to his current role, Will implemented Positive Behaviour Support Plans with children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disability as a NDIS Registered Support Worker. Will focuses on building the therapeutic relationship and tailoring intervention to ensure that the client feels heard, understood, and safe as he believes this to be the necessary foundation to support clients in making positive change.
