Huge congratulations 🥳 to my ORS family, OT power is growing in WA! 🌟
Huge congratulations to the entire team ORS 💖👏
An amazing team
Today is World Day for Safety and Health at Work. 🌎
This year’s focus reminds us to ensure healthy psychosocial working environments because workplace safety is about more than physical hazards.
Psychological safety is created through clear communication, supportive leadership, manageable workloads, and early action when challenges arise.
When organisations get this right, people feel safer to speak up, recover sooner, and perform at their best.
At ORS, we help workplaces build psychologically safer environments through practical leadership support, evidence-based tools, and integrated recovery expertise.
Because safer workplaces don’t happen by accident.

We are so proud to spotlight one of our incredible clinicians, Dr Serena Cribb! 🤩
As a neuropsychologist at ORS, Serena works with clients of all ages and backgrounds, from kids with ADHD to adults recovering from brain injuries. No two days look the same, and that is exactly how she likes it.
One of her biggest beliefs? That every client is assessable. Sometimes it just means sitting on the floor with a young child or following them around the room. Whatever it takes.
On top of her clinical work, Serena runs workshops, mentors early-career psychologists, and supports her team every day in ORS's open-plan, collaborative offices.
Thinking about joining our team? We would love to chat. Head to the link below to find out more about what it is like to work at ORS.

Awesome work 👏👏❤️
Well done all! 👏
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to all 🙂
“Stopping behaviour” sounds right… but it’s not how Positive Behaviour Support actually works.
Most behaviours don’t disappear.
They evolve.
A simple but important shift in thinking, moving from reacting to behaviours, to understanding why they happen in the first place.
Because when you understand the function behind behaviour, you can build strategies that are safer, more practical, and actually sustainable.
It’s also why PBS is never a solo effort. The best outcomes come from consistency across the whole team, families, carers, support workers, and allied health professionals all working together. 🤝
A good reminder that meaningful behaviour support isn’t about control, it’s about insight, collaboration, and long-term change.

One moment changed everything.
A fall at work left Tina injured, overwhelmed, and unsure what to do next. What followed wasn’t just physical recovery, it was rebuilding confidence, independence, and getting back to the life she loved.
From walking into her daughter’s wedding without crutches, to getting back to the beach with her family, her journey is a reminder that progress takes time, support, and belief in yourself.
Recovery isn’t always a straight line, but step by step, things can change. 💛

We’re honoured to share Liam’s journey, a brave nine-year-old who has been navigating long-term challenges with eating and mealtimes. 🍽️💛
When Liam’s family reached out, they were looking for support that felt safe, understanding, and free from judgement. They wanted someone who could truly listen and help Liam feel more comfortable around food again. 🌱
Xavier, one of our Dietitians at ORS, worked alongside Liam and his family to build trust, create healthy boundaries, and support Liam at his own pace.
His mum shared:
“Liam is less anxious, more relaxed, and he’s even using words he wouldn’t have used before to describe his feelings about food… he feels hopeful that it’s not forever.” 💚

ORS is busting diabetes myths this World Diabetes Day 2025! 💪
There are so many strong opinions out there about diabetes and food.
“Don’t eat sugar.” “Carbs are the enemy.” “You’ll definitely need medication.”
It’s a lot, and it can feel overwhelming, confusing, and even a little bit scary.
So, we invited our State Manager for Dietetics, Nicole Saliba, to sit down and clear things up in the kindest, most empowering way. 🙌
In this episode, Nicole chats through some of the most common misunderstandings about diabetes, including sugar, carbs, weight, medication, and the idea of “curing” diabetes, and breaks them down into simple, meaningful explanations that actually make sense in real life.
No judgement.
No fear messaging.
No quick-fix promises.
Just supportive, evidence-informed insights you can take into your everyday life. 💚
Tap to watch and learn something new today, or share with someone who deserves kind, clear information.

Love this!
Sending love and support for diabetes awareness 🙏
Diabetes’ awareness day is close to my heart with my 13 year old daughter being diagnosed 4.5 years ago with type 1. A daily struggle that no one would ever understand unless they were on the journey as well. Type 2 is often confused with type 1 and the myths you have pointed out in your myth busters are important to note, along with the fact that type 1 is an autoimmune disease that is not caused by what someone eats, lack of exercise or lifestyle choices but rather a disease where the pancreas does not produce insulin. Thank you for spreading awareness and a dietician certainly is an important key in supporting those with all types of diabetes 💙
🚨New Series Alert ‼️
For National Nutrition Week we’re kicking off our brand-new video series ORS Actual Intelligence, where expert allied health professionals answer the internet’s most common Ai queries about their field. 👀
In this episode, our dietitian Taneil Heidke tackles what people are really asking about dietetics, from ''how do you spell dietician/dietitian?" to "what does a dietitian do for weightloss?" 🤔
💬 Let us know in the comments what profession you’d like to see featured in the next ORS Actual Intelligence.
