ORS therapy groups are carefully crafted to provide a secure environment where people can work towards their goals and connect with peers while receiving evidence based supports from practitioners. The primary aim is to facilitate therapeutic interactions that promote skill development and reinforce goals established through personalised therapy plans.

These groups are led by practitioners who specialise in paediatrics. Depending on the group’s objectives, it can be run by speech pathologists, occupational therapists or early childhood workers.  Depending on the specific objectives of each group, a multidisciplinary team is often involved in both the planning and facilitation of the group. This collaborative approach ensures the application of evidence-based practices tailored to enhance the skills your child has been developing in their individual therapy sessions, fostering measurable progress and functional outcomes.
