About Me
Ashleigh is a Senior Occupational Therapist who graduated with first-class honours from Curtin University. She has amassed extensive experience working with individuals of all ages in outpatient and inpatient mental health hospital settings and in the broader community. With her warm, friendly, and empathetic demeanour, Ashleigh collaborates effectively with individuals experiencing a range of mental health, neurodevelopmental, and physical conditions. At her core, she is passionate about delivering tailored occupational therapy interventions that empower individuals to enhance their quality of life and achieve independence in the activities most important to them. Ashleigh adheres to the principles of person- and family-centred, trauma-informed care, and mental health recovery ensuring that the people she works with are heard, understood, respected, and supported throughout their journey. In addition, Ashleigh has a passion for academia, writing, and evidence-based practice. This passion has culminated in the publication of a peer-reviewed research article evaluating the psychometric properties and clinical utility of existing paediatric cognitive assessments.
