Van holds a Master of Speech Pathology and a Master of Applied Linguistics and TESOL. Based at ORS Mitchell, Van brings a distinctive blend of clinical knowledge and extensive teaching experience to the Speech Pathology team. Before transitioning into speech pathology, Van taught English to speakers of other languages for fourteen years, developing strong skills in language instruction and client-centred communication. This background supports Van’s clinical focus on language and literacy across paediatric and adult populations, where evidence-based assessment and tailored intervention are priorities. Van is motivated by helping clients achieve meaningful communication outcomes and enjoys collaborating with families, carers and interdisciplinary teams to support functional goals. With a commitment to ongoing professional development and compassionate care, Van strives to make a positive difference in people's lives through improved language, literacy, and participation.
