Marcia completed her Master of Speech Pathology at Charles Sturt University. She has placement experience across adult and paediatric clinical settings, including acute geriatric and rehabilitation hospitals, and in supporting the communication goals of children with cleft lip and/or palate. Marcia is particularly interested in early language acquisition and literacy, as well as working with adults with communication and swallowing needs. She has a lifelong passion for communication, collaboration, languages and learning, including in culturally diverse contexts. She is committed to delivering high-quality, strengths-based, person-centred and compassionate care for stakeholders. Marcia is excited to join the ORS team and looks forward to working collaboratively and positively with clients. Marcia also enjoys her volunteer role in supporting social participation through weekly residential aged care visits.
