She has professional experience as a Disability Support Worker, where she developed practical skills in supporting individuals with diverse needs, implementing individualised strategies and fostering safe, supportive environments. Megan graduated with distinction, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and evidence-informed practice. Megan has experience working across a range of age groups and is passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful outcomes in their everyday lives. Her expertise lies in understanding behaviour within the context of a person’s environment, communication needs, and support requirements, enabling her to implement proactive and responsive strategies. She adopts a person-centred and strengths-based approach, working collaboratively with individuals, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver respectful and effective support. Megan’s combined experience in education and disability support enables her to contribute valuable insight to the ORS team. She is motivated to promote independence, build capacity and enhance quality of life through practical, compassionate and sustainable behaviour support.
