Yasemin completed a Bachelor of Health Science with a major in Rehabilitation Counselling and a Master of Occupational Therapy at La Trobe University. She has experience working with people across the lifespan in a range of clinical settings, including private practice and community services. Yasemin has an interest in paediatric occupational therapy and uses a child-led, neuro-affirming approach to support early developmental skills, emotional regulation, and participation in everyday activities through connection and play. She recognises the impact a child’s disability can have on the whole family and aims to incorporate strategies that support participation and function within everyday life. Her clinical background has developed strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and collaborative practice with families and multidisciplinary teams. Yasemin draws on evidence-informed strategies to create meaningful, functional outcomes while prioritising strengths-based care. She is passionate about building meaningful connections with clients and families, supporting participation and independence through a compassionate and collaborative approach.
