Will was diagnosed with developmental trauma, ADHD, Autism, and ODD. Which presented a lot of difficult behaviours that Shanice didn’t know how to manage at the time.
But, with the guidance of Cass, Will began using Art Therapy to express and externalise his emotions. Through drawing, Will learned talk about his emotions as if they were a third party that was external from him – helping him understand and manage them with more critical thinking.
Now equipped with tools and strategies from Cass, Shanice and her partner are now able to respond calmly and effectively — reframing challenges and communicate in a way that truly work.
Today, Will is thriving. He’s able to pause, reflect, and make better choices — opening the door to brighter days and a fresh outlook!
